Picking up where Walt Disney Animation Studio’s feature film Tangled left off, new Disney Channel original movie Tangled Before Ever After (pictured) and Tangled: The Series are gearing up for March debuts.

Tangled Before Ever After will bow on Disney Channel US on March 10 at 8 p.m. A DVD of the TV movie, as well as four animated shorts, will launch on April 11. The movie sees Rapunzel embark on an adventure after an encounter with mystical rocks causes her long blonde hair to grow back to fairytale lengths.

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (formerly Flynn Rider). Additional characters from Tangled—including Rapunzel’s chameleon sidekick Pascal and the dutiful horse Maximus—will also return to join Rapunzel on her journey.

Like Rapunzel’s long locks, however, the story doesn’t end there. On March 24, new show Tangled: The Series will premiere stateside with new characters like Cassandra (voiced by Eden Espinosa), who is Ranpunzel’s lady-in-waiting and good friend. The series is produced by Disney Television Animation and developed by Chris Sonnenburg (Enchanted) and Shane Prigmore (The Lego Movie).

Following their US debuts, both the original movie and series will hit Disney channels in 162 countries.

Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media will also debut new playsets, dolls, role-play, apparel and accessories this fall. The items will be available at Disney Stores and at additional US retailers.
