Toronto, Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment has inked a development deal with Corus Entertainment for the half-hour comedy series 4Player.

Created by Vivieno Caldinelli and Mark De Angelis, the single-camera sitcom follows teens who excel when it comes to video games, but not so much in other aspects of their lives. The series is aimed at eight- to 12-year-olds.

Caldinelli and Mark De Angelis have previously worked with Sinking Ship on the Daytime Emmy-winning series Odd Squad

Most recently, Sinking Ship launched a licensing and merchandising department to develop the company’s retail strategies. As well, last February the company also announced its acquisition of Picture Box Distribution.
