Longtime Turner exec Whit Richardson will oversee all of the company's brands, and their L&M efforts, in the region.
February 14, 2017

Whit Richardson has been upped to president of Turner Latin America, where he will oversee the region’s portfolio comprised of  kids, sports and general entertainment brands. He will also manage licensing and merchandising efforts for LatAmTurner’s largest international division.

Richardson will report to Gerhard Zeiler, president of Turner International.

With a Turner tenure spanning two decades, Richardson makes the move from his most recent role as EVP of distribution for Latin America.

Richardson relocated from Atlanta to Buenos Aires in 2014 to become GM of Turner Argentina. There, he helped expand the company from 15 employees to 750.

The news comes only a week after Turner realigned its Southeast Asia strategy, naming Vishal Dembla VP and GM for the region.
