Disney Junior is celebrating National Puppy Day by announcing the debut of its new animated series Puppy Dog Pals. The show will premiere on April 14 with two back-to-back episodes on Disney Channel.

Puppy Dog Pals follows two pug brothers, Bingo and Rolly, as they go on adventures in their neighborhood and around the world. Each episode features two 11-minute stories that focus on friendship, problem-solving and collaboration.

On April 7, games and activities featuring Bingo and Rolly will be available on the Disney Junior App and on DisneyJunior.com. Brand extensions from Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI)—including activity and story books—will be available in June, while apparel and toys inspired by the series will launch in August.

Created by comedian Harland Williams, the series is a production of Wild Canary in association with Disney Junior. Williams is also a consulting producer and writer for the show, and is the voice of Bob, the dogs’ devoted owner. Sean Coyle (The Awesomes, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) serves as executive producer.

Puppy Dog Pals will join other furry members of the Disney Junior family. The Mouse House recently ordered new seasons of Sunny Bunnies and The Lion Guard.
