Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and Entertainment One (eOne) have signed licensing agreements with the New York-based babies and children’s furniture manufacturer Delta Children. The deals will see popular characters from each company featured in new lines of toddler and juvenile furniture beginning this year.
Delta Children is producing furniture lines inspired by eOne preschool series PJ Masks and Peppa Pig. The lines will include beds, table and chair sets, upholstered chairs and toy storage, and will be available later in 2017.
As an official licensee with WBCP, Delta Children is currently working on juvenile lines based on Batman, Wonder Woman, Justice League and DC Superhero Girls brands, which are currently in early concept stages.
Through the agreement, Delta Children’s licensing rights related to Justice Leagueinclude Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Cybord. The company’s rights related to DC Superhero Girls include Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, Katana, Bumblebee and Poison Ivy.
These agreements mark Delta Children’s first licensing deals with WBCP and eOne.
The furniture manufacturer has a history of bringing superheroes into the home. In 2011, Delta Children partnered with Marvel Entertainment on a line featuring Spider-Man. In 2013, Delta Children focused on heroines, helping to round out the home décor category for Disney’s Frozen.
