Licensing agent CPLG has picked up pan-European licensing rights to daily tween music series Love, Divina from Televisa, Federation Kids & Family and Pol-Ka Producciones. The DHX-owned company will roll out an extensive consumer products program across the UK and Europe, starting with Italy, where Love, Divinia recently debuted on DeAgostini youth channel SUPER!

The first categories being pursued by the licensing agent will include apparel, gifts, publishing, accessories and music.

The 60 x 45-minute series stars TV and pop star Laura Esquivel as a teenager who helps homeless kids on the street by taking them under her wing.

Love, Divina launched on Argentina’s eltrece television in January, followed by a rollout on Televisa’s OTT platform BLIM across Latin America. The bolstered licensing efforts in Europe follow France Télévisions’ acquisition of the series, which is set to bow on France 4 later this year.
