Paris-based GO-N Productions’ Simon has been ordered for second and third seasons by commissioning broadcaster France Télévisions. The preschool series, adapted from author Stephanie Blake’s original books, made its debut on France Télévisions’ preschool block Zouszous in December 2016.

The show follows Simon as he comes into his own by challenging his parents and embarking on a new life at school. The two-season order will bring the series’ episode count to 156.

Beyond France, Simon’s first season was recently picked up by Disney Junior Latin America, Disney South East Asia, Telequebec (Canada), Cartoonito (Italy), VRT (Belgium), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), RUV (Iceland), RTS (Switzerland), HOP (Israel), ERR (Estonia), Jetsen Huashi Wangju Kids (China) and TV5 Worldwide.

The announcement comes shortly after GO-N opened its new digital division with Amelie Oliveau at the helm.
