Israel-based Keshet International (KI) has tapped industry vet Nicola Andrews to helm its newly launched kids division.
As senior sales and commercial director for Keshet’s kids and family business based in London, Andrews will be responsible for driving the division’s new acquisitions, co-productions and global sales.
With more than 20 years of television industry experience, Andrews was most recently the VP of distribution at Gaumont Television, where she sold the company’s children’s programming abroad. Prior to that, she was head of acquisitions at Cineflix Rights, MD of London-based animation studio BKN New Media and held senior sales positions at Sony Pictures and Carlton International.
Keshet kick-started its kids push in March by partnering with Tel Aviv-based Ananey Communications Group to bring four kids shows—The Greenhouse, Bed & Biscuit, The Hood and Spell Keepers—to the global market. (Ananey also exclusively represents Viacom’s kids brands Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Teen Nick in Israel.)
Headed by CEO Alon Shtruzman, KI is the global distribution and production arm of Keshet Media Group.
