Duccio Donati is taking on the newly created role of EVP of lifestyle and kids at NBCUniversal International. He will take on responsibility for the DreamWorks channel internationally, while continuing to oversee E! Entertainment Television outside of the US.
A key part of Donati’s new role is to drive expansion of the US brands in EMEA, Latin America and APAC. He will also be collaborating with leaders across the company’s international business including E!, Bravo, Oxygen and DreamWorks.
Donati has been EVP of E! & Style since July 2013. Previously, he was responsible for all commercial aspects of NBCUniversal’s international channels portfolio. He has been with Comcast’s international organization since 1999 and became EVP of Comcast International Media Group in January 2010.
Margie Cohn remains head of DreamWorks TV, helming DreamWorks’ and Universal’s integrated television production business. Comcast bought DreamWorks Animation for US$3.8 billion last April, giving the company a major foothold in the kids entertainment space. DreamWorks Animation TV series are expected to air on the newly created Universal Kids when it debuts this fall.
