YouTube star Jake Paul and influencer group Team 10 have signed Brand Central as their exclusive licensing agency in order to grow their offerings and build a full consumer products program across multiple categories.
Team 10 is a group of social media influencers including Paul, Erika Costell, Nick Crompton, Chance and Anthony, Tessa Brooks, Justin Roberts, Chad Tepper, Alex Lange, the Martinez twins and Tristan Tales. Collectively, the Team 10 members have more than 42 million followers across major social media platforms. In less than a year, Paul and Team 10 have amassed more than 10 million subscribers and two billion views on YouTube, and their daily vlogs boast an average of 20 million views per day.
Brand Central’s roster of digital and influencer brands includes music app Musical.ly and the YouTube channel Cute Girls Hairstyles. Beyond social media, Paul has also starred in films and TV, including the first YouTube film Dance Camp and the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark—the latter of which he recently exited mid-season following creative differences.
Paul and Team 10 are currently under one license. Their branded products have seen success online, with their e-commerce site shipping merchandise to more than 130 countries around the world.
Recently, Brand Central brokered an agreement that will see Toy State serve as master toy licensee for Guru Studio’s Netflix Original preschool series True and the Rainbow Kingdom. The toyco’s product line will feature figures, role play, plush, playsets and dolls, and will see Toy State expand into new product categories.
