UK prodco I’m Hungry Studios has enlisted the services of UK-based Larkshead Media to help launch its new 3D-animated kids series Aniball Island.
Larkshead will be tasked with leading development, distribution, investment, strategy and L&M efforts for the 52 x 11-minute series. Aimed at kids ages four to six, Aniball Island follows the adventures a group of shape-changing spheroids.
A bible for the show will be presented at MIPCOM in Cannes next week. An L&M program is also currently in the works, and Larkshead is looking for potential global distribution deals.
In related news, Larkshead has inked a deal with Luxembourg-based Fabrique d’Images to collaborate on new kids projects. Upcoming titles will be announced soon.
The deals follow Larkshead’s appointment by brand owner and creator Blue Zoo Productions to manage the UK licensing activity for its CBeebies show Numberblocks.
