Universal Music’s MCA label has signed on to develop the music for Federation Kids & Family’s show Love, Divina. The series is a co-production with Mexico’s Televisa, Buenos Aires-based Pol-ka Producciones and Federation Kids & Family, with broadcast rights held by France Televisions.

Universal Music France will market the series under its MCA label like it does for other successful brands in the region including Argentinian telenovelasĀ Violetta andĀ Soy Luna, as well as new Colombian teen telenovela Chica Vampiro.

The central element to 60 x 45-minute teen and telenovela Love, Divina is music. It follows an orphan girl who takes young homeless kids under her wing and then finds her long lost grandmother while dreaming of becoming a pop star. The series stars Laura Esquivel and is currently being broadcast across Latin American and Europe on channels like Super! in Italy and France Televisions.
