Lagardere Group’s pay-TV family channel Gulli Russia has picked up Studio 100’s animated series K3 for Russia and the CIS territories. It’s slated for Gulli Girl, the family TV channel with more than five million subscribers.

Produced by Studio 100 Animation, the 2D toon is based on a live-action series of the same name and follows three ordinary girls who become teenage popstars.

Studio 100 has sold shows to the Lagardere Group in the region before, including Maya and the Bee and Arthur and the Minimoys, which are currently broadcast on TiJi Russia. Lagardere also acts as a co-producer on Arthur and the Minimoys along with Europacorp Television, Studio 100 Animation and Disney Channel Germany.
