ZAG Animation has bolstered its executive team by appointing Marlin Prager (pictured) as both COO and CFO. The production company has also named Cindy Elfenbein as VP of retail business development, and David Ribardo as its new chief accounting officer.

ZAG has undergone rapid expansion since the 2015 launch of its flagship series, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, which is available in 120 countries worldwide with more than 300 licensees on board. ZAG currently has more than 200 hours of original content and eight television series in production, including new action comedy show Zak Storm–Super Pirate.

In his new dual role, former Legendary Entertainment exec Prager will lead operations and financial management. Elfenbein, who previously held roles at Sanrio, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, joins ZAG’s licensing team to develop new business opportunities with retailers. Ribardo, meanwhile, comes to ZAG with 13 years of experience in auditing and accounting services for public and private companies as a senior manager at PwC.
