UK distributor CAKE has signed a raft of deals for seasons one and two of Wind Dancer Films’ Ready Jet Go!

New broadcast partnerships for season one include BT and Virgin Media in the UK and WeKids in Asia. Meanwhile, ABC (Australia), BBC Kids and Knowledge Network (Canada), YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway), SIC Television (Portugal) and MBC (the Middle East) have acquired season two.

The show’s 24 x half-hour second season premiered on PBS KIDS in the US in August. It has inspired a collection of web games, mobile apps, licensed toys and other products that are set to launch in the US next year.

Ready Jet Go! follows new kid in town (and alien) Jet Propulsion and his Earth friends as they embark on astronomical adventures exploring the solar system. Aimed at three- to eight-year-olds, the series was created by Craig Bartlett (Hey Arnold!, Dinosaur Train). CAKE handles international distribution, excluding the US and Canada (but holds broadcast rights for Canada).

Also produced by Wind Dancer Films, PBS KIDS unveiled a Ready Jet Go! holiday special on December 11, which will air again on December 22 to 24. Ready Jet Go!: Holidays in Boxwood Terrace is a two-part episode following Jet trying to get into the Christmas spirit.
