Universal Kids has scooped up Cottonwood Media’s tween drama series Find Me In Paris. The deal sees the ballet-themed land on the NBCUniversal-owned US net for a second window, following its American debut on Hulu this spring. (Hulu picked up exclusive US streaming rights to the series last summer.)
Produced by Federation Kids & Family-owned Cottonwood Media, ZDF and ZDF Enterprises, the show has already sold to France Televisions, Disney (France and Italy), ZDF (Germany), ABC (Australia) and VRT (Belgium).
With a US$11.7-million production budget, Find Me In Paris takes place against the backdrop of the world-renowned Garnier Opera House in Paris, which is also a co-producer on the series. FranceTV Distribution was tapped late last year as the French licensing agent for the half-hour show.
