Random House Children’s Books has released a raft of new products inspired by author R. J. Palacio’s bestselling book—and recent Julia Roberts-starting feature film—Wonder.
The branded items are part of the 2018 #ChooseKindness campaign to promote Palacio’s book, which has sold nine million copies to date.
The pillar of the US-based consumer products line is a 365-day journal set (pictured) with quotes from the bestseller throughout. Additional items include an affirmation calendar and stationery set available at Barnes N Noble, Target and Amazon, as well as inspirational t-shirts at Hot Topic, accessories at Out of Print Clothing, jewelry at 10pm online and classroom supplies at Raymond Geddies.
Palacio’s book tells the story of 10-year-old Auggie Pullman, who has facial abnormalities and is starting school for the first time. Lionsgate, Walden Media, Random House and Gap Kids recently joined forces to promote the film’s themes in an educational outreach initiative that begins on April 1 across the US.
