Toronto, Canada-based Sinking Ship Entertainment has signed a new partnership with Aquarius Films to finance and distribute The Unlisted. The new live-action kids adventure series, created by Justine Flynn, goes into production this year and is set to be delivered in fall 2019.

Aimed at tweens, the new 15 x half-hour series, follows 12-year-old twins Dru and Kal who work together with a group of underground vigilante kids to stop a powerful government from imposing control over the world’s youth population. It is produced by Aquarius Films (the company behind Oscar-nominated feature film LION) in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and is expected to start shooting in Australia later this year.

The series joins Sinking Ship’s slate of programming including hit series Odd Squad, which just debuted a new one-hour movie on PBS at the beginning of this year and is co-produced with The Fred Rogers Company.
