Universal Brand Development and The LEGO Group are launching their largest Jurassic World collaboration to date with an expanded line that includes construction sets, animated content and–for the first time–a lifestyle collection.
Set to hit Toys “R” Us and Walmart shelves in April, 13 new branded construction sets will span LEGO Systems, LEGO Juniors and LEGO DUPLO. A collection of soft lines and publishing, meanwhile, is intended to reach audiences outside of the toy aisle and will be available later this year.
The expansion comes in anticipation of the global theatrical release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on June 22.
Earlier this month, Universal Brand Development partnered with online creative network Tongal to mark the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park‘s theatrical release with a user-generated contest. Fans are currently being invited to submit videos that see them relive or recreate their favorite moments from the original Jurassic Park film, with compilation videos of the best user-generated content posted to various Jurassic World channels.
