Entertainment One (eOne) has secured new free-to-air broadcast deals in Brazil, Croatia and Denmark for its preschool superhero series PJ Masks.

TVCultura in Brazil and RTLKokica in Croatia will debut the 52 x 11-minute toon this spring. Denmark’s DR Ramasjang will follow in summer 2018.

Following its March 2016 global premiere on Disney Junior, the series has made its way to Tiny Pop (the UK), ABC Kids (Australia), RAI (Italy), Televisa (Mexico) and YoYo TV (Taiwan). Co-produced by Disney Junior and France 5, the third season of PJ Masks is currently in production. The first episodes from season two recently premiered in the US and will go worldwide in late February/early March.

Master toy partner Just Play began rolling out the brand’s global consumer products range in 2017, and a new line is expected later this year. In fact, PJ Masks drove significant growth for eOne last year, with the brand’s revenue increasing more than 500% year-on-year from US$2.9 million to US$17.5 million.
