March 28, 2018

To coincide with the June 15 US theatrical debut of Incredibles 2, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Disney/Pixar are set to release a tie-in video game entitled LEGO The Incredibles.

Available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the new game will let players act as an Incredibles character while assembling virtual LEGO builds. Users can also team up with others in dual-player modes.

The new title follows shortly after Warner Bros., TT Games and The LEGO Group announced that they would be ceasing development of toys-to-life game LEGO Dimensions, which blended physical brick-building with virtual characters from DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie franchise. LEGO The Incredibles also comes at a time when US video game sales are on the rise. According to The NPD Group, US sales for hardware, software and accessories were up by 59% in January, thanks to strong demand for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4.
