WOW Unlimited Media’s Mainframe Studios is in development on The Anybodies (pictured), an upcoming TV series based on the book trilogy of the same name by author Julianna Baggott (also known under the pen name N.E. Bode).

Aimed at kids ages six to 11, the toon tells the story of a 12-year-old girl with shape-shifting powers who is reunited with family after being switched at birth. Screenwriters David H. Steinberg and Keetgi Kogan Steinberg (Yo-kai Watch) are  exec producing, while Mark Risley (Space RaidersThe Mr. Men Show) is attached to direct.

The announcement comes two days ahead Netflix’s premiere of Mainframe hybrid live-action/CGI series ReBoot: The Guardian Code. (The show will bow on Corus Entertainment’s YTV in June.) Last month, Netflix revealed it had picked up worldwide rights to ReBoot (excluding Canada).

Formerly Rainmaker Entertainment, Toronto-based WOW Unlimited is also comprised of Frederator Networks (including animation prodco Frederator Studios) and Hispanic animation hub Átomo Network.
