Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) will launch fully authenticated versions of its Nick Jr. Play interactive app experience in Australia, following deals with TV services Foxtel and Fetch.

Nick Jr. Play began rolling out internationally in February and includes access to the kidsnet’s shows, original videos, games and music. The app is designed to promote exploration, and allows preschoolers to navigate through simple swipes and taps.

Following its debut in Australia some time this year, Foxtel and Fetch subscribers will unlock the iOS and Android app’s full library of content featuring series like PAW Patrol, Nella the Princess Knight and Bubble Guppies.

The preschool app is the latest addition to Viacom Play Plex, a mobile app suite featuring Viacom’s major international brands like Nick Play, MTV Play, Comedy Central Play and BET Play. Nick Play, for one, launched in Australia with Foxtel in 2015, and Fetch subscribers will be able to unlock the app’s full library of content in mid-2018.

Nick Jr. Play was announced at Nickelodeon’s upfront presentation in 2014 and launched later that year in the US.
