Sesame Street has expanded its fashion and lifestyle offerings with a number of new apparel/accessory collection launches in Asia.

Casualwear brand Lalabobo has introduced a Sesame Street capsule collection into its Chinese stores that includes sweatshirts, sweaters, bomber jackets, jeans, down garments and dresses for women and children. Shanghai-based fashion label Tyakasha, meanwhile, will launch apparel and accessories (including lunch boxes and mobile phone cases) featuring characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster this month. Also kicking off this month is a Sesame collection of t-shirts (pictured), sweatshirts and pants at Hong Kong-based retailer B.Duck.

In May, Hong Kong’s :CHOCOOLATE will debut a line of t-shirts, hoodies and tote bags for tweens and teens that will also be available in Macau, Taiwan, Singapore and Canada.

The expansion of Sesame Street’s fashion and lifestyle offerings comes as the brand approaches its 50th anniversary. Earlier this year, US children’s furnishing company The Land of Nod partnered with Sesame Workshop to create a line of décor, furnishings, apparel and accessories inspired by the show’s characters.
