Disney Junior wants to make Mission Force One out of this world, literally. The animated series—the third season installment of Miles from Tomorrowland—was screened on the International Space Station (ISS), marking the first kids television premiere in space.

The Mission Force One episode entitled “The Space Station Situation” recently debuted to astronauts on board the ISS ahead of its May 7 premiere on Disney Junior and the DisneyNOW app. The episode follows Miles and his friends as they travel back in time to help ISS astronauts, and features an exact replica of the station using NASA’s original designs.

NASA astronauts Scott Kelly, Jeanette Epps and Yvonne Cagle voice themselves in the episode, along with European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko and NASA space station flight director Holly Ridings. In addition, Bill Nye recurs as Professor Rubicon.

Experts from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Space Tourism Society and Google serve as consultants on Mission Force One. The series, created and executive produced by Sascha Paladino (Henry Hugglemonster), is produced by Wild Canary in association with Disney Junior.
