Cartoon Network assembles more licensing partners

Cartoon Network Enterprises has inked L&M deals with partners like Mattel and LEGO for brands including The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10 and We Bare Bears.

Cartoon Network Enterprises has added new licensing partners to a number of its brands, including The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, We Bare Bears and Steven Universe.

As The Powerpuff Girls celebrates its 20th anniversary, the girl-skewing property’s new US partners include Mattel (Barbie fashions), Champion (apparel), Mondo T’s (pins and prints) and The LEGO Group (building sets, pictured). In Latin America, meanwhile, new partners include Cremer (personal care), Dentro da Historia (publishing) and Amazonia (coconut water). In Europe, new Powerpuff Girls agreements have been inked with Sabrina Pilewicz (handbags), Undiz (nightwear and underwear), Textiss (nightwear and underwear) and Katie Eary (apparel). Additionally, Bizuu will also expand its existing collaboration with a new athleisure collection.

CN’s Ben 10 franchise, meanwhile, relaunched in the US in 2017, and FAB Starpoint has signed on to create backpacks inspired by the brand. Several licensing partners have also joined We Bare Bearsincluding Grizzly Griptape (skateboard apparel and accessories), Toy Factory (plush toys), Funko (POP! vinyl figures) and Concept One Accessories (accessories, luggage and bags).

Meanwhile, PopSockets (phone accessories) has joined Steven Universe’s consumer products program, and Accutime Watch Corporation will expand its timepiece collection inspired by Adventure Time.
