NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s Bluprint, digital lifestyle destination, is launching Together, a new vertical featuring exclusive original programming and classes that encourage families to try and learn new things together.

Aimed at kids ages six to 12 and their parents and caregivers, Together is set to launch tomorrow and will be available on-demand via Bluprint’s monthly and yearly subscription streaming services.

Educational entertainment series premiering at launch include Bluprint’s flagship series Doodle Wars, as well as cooking series Pizza Revolution with Chef Fabio Viviani and a series of “Jump Into” crafting classes focused on drawing, knitting and embroidery. Starring the host of Universal Kids’ popular Beat the Clock series Paul Costabile, Doodle Wars is a reality competition series that pits emerging artists from diverse backgrounds against each other in creative challenges judged by cartoonist/illustrator Jon Chad and illustrator/fashion designer Zoe Hong.

Pizza Revolution, meanwhile, is a five x 10 to 12 minute series hosted by Fabio Viviani (Top Chef), who spins a wheel to determine the ingredients he’ll incorporate into fresh pizza creations.

As for Jump Into: Drawing, Jump Into: Knitting and Jump Into: Embroidery, the instructional series shows kids how to craft and explains why things work. It stars the host of Bluprint’s The Stitch Dimension, Kristy Glass (pictured), as well as artist Jordan DeWilde and embroiderer Jessica Long.

Other notable series coming to the platform later this year include Weeknight Cooking with Curtis Stone & Dylan Dreyer, Plane Games: Make & Fly Paper Airplanes, STEAM series Made for the Wild, MasterChef Junior: Incredible Appetizers with Beni Cwiakala, Animation 101 with Flip Books!, DIY Room Makeover and Extreme Origami (all working titles).

Starring celebrity chef Curtis Stone and Today show anchor Dylan Dreyer, Weeknight Cooking  will bow next month to share strategies for families who want to cook more efficiently during the week and free up more weekend time. Made for the Wild is a STEAM series featuring 15-year-old Australian wilderness and wildlife expert Miller Wilson (Little Big Shots) that will follow in October. The series teaches outdoor hacks to families and connects kids to science through wilderness crafting activities. Also premiering in October, MasterChef Junior: Incredible Appetizers with Beni Cwiakala, stars the season-six winner of the hit Fox series, and is centered around healthy eating. Debuting in late 2018 and rounding out the new content are short-form series DIY Room Makeover, offering DIY hacks for transforming bedrooms and family rooms, while Animation 101 teaching the fundamentals of animation through flip book making.

Bluprint was previously called Craftsy when NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment acquired the Denver, Colorado-based online company in May 2017. NBCU rebranded the platform as Bluprint last month to expand its community beyond 13 million people and move into exclusive original content and online classes promoting self-expression in areas including music, writing, dance, yoga, fitness, home décor, entertaining, and kids and family. It also plans to tap into the multi-billion-dollar craft retail market this fall by expanding its e-commerce business with a suite of curated products and kits.

Ex-Mattel CCO and NBCU exec Catherine Balsam-Schwaber returned to her former network to head up Craftsy in November 2017 as GM, a position she has retained under Bluprint.
