The SVOD is gearing up to premiere the second season of original animated preschool series Super Monsters from 41 Entertainment on October 5, alongside a Halloween special spin-off.

Set at Pitchfork Pines School, where the children of world-famous monsters are studying to become the best people (and monsters) they can be, the series stars a group of preschoolers who are humans by day and super-powered monsters by night. The new seven-episode season is executive produced by 41 Entertainment’s managing director Allen Bohbot, alongside producers Kaaren Lee Brown and Jennifer Rogan. Animation on the series is being done at Vancouver’s Icon Creative Studio.

In the lead-up to season two, a new trailer is available on Netflix’s YouTube channel, and four animated music videos have dropped on the company’s main service as part of the Super Monsters Monster Party shorts collection.

The show’s first season was produced by Marvel Studios founder Avi Arad and 41 Entertainment, which is also behind Netflix original kids series Kong-King of the Apes and Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan and Jane.
