Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids division has snapped up the international distribution rights for season five of Novel Entertainment’s Horrid Henry, inking broadcast deals for the new episodes and renewing existing partnerships for all previous seasons.

New deals include MBC (Middle East), Alati International (Russia), and Atlantic Digital Networks (Canada). The series has also been renewed with Turner Broadcasting System (Asia), Mediacorp (Singapore), POP TV (Slovenia), E-Vision (Middle East), Asiana (Korea), and Netflix (the US, Canada, France, Australia and New Zealand).

Currently in production, the fifth season of the 42 x 11-minute show will also bow on Nicktoons in 2019 as part of a deal inked earlier this year by Nickelodeon UK & Ireland.

Produced by Novel since 2006, the 250-episode series is all about a 10-year-old boy who constantly complains that life is unfair.
