Italian producer/distributor Mondo TV has inked a content partnership agreement with SVOD provider Ameba TV that will see four of its animated and live-action series roll out on the platform’s branded channels in Canada and the US starting early next year.

Co-pros Cinderella (with Tatsunk Production), Playtime Buddies (with Visual Picnic), Robin Hood (with Tatsunko Production) and Turtle Hero (with Hahn Shin) will now be available on Ameba via TiVo, Xbox 360, Roku, Opera, LG Smart TVs, Cinemood Projectors, iOS, Android and Chromecast.

The four series join more than 700 hours of programming aimed at kids ages two to 10 in Ameba’s library, including Zeptolab’s Om Nom Stories and ITV’s recent revival of The Sooty Show.

The deal follows in the wake of Mondo recently signing a raft of international deals to spread its content worldwide, including selling Cuby Zoo to Middle Eastern broadcaster MBC3, and striking a three-year partnership with Discovery that air Robot Trains in the Middle East. The company is also upping its content output, just last week announcing a new animated kids show MeteoHeroes, which is scheduled for a spring 2020 launch.
