Building on the success of its ABCmouse Early Learning Academy education platform, LA-based Age of Learning has released ReadingIQ, a new digital book library for under-12s featuring more than 1,000 exclusive titles. The kid-safe online reading collection—which includes the complete Boxcar Children series from publisher Albert Whitman & Company, multiple Curious George titles and select books from Nat Geo Kids—has functionality that teachers can use to set daily reading challenges for their students and track their reading progress.

ReadingIQ has a wide variety of formats to pique the interest of young bookworms, spanning picture books, graphic novels, wordless stories, STEM stories, how-to books, biographies, historical fiction and read-to-me titles. Like ABCmouse, teachers are able to access the library for free to use in classrooms and can assign books that match students’ interests and reading ability for home use at no cost. Families can also subscribe to the complete ReadingIQ library at home via the website, the Apple App Store or Google Play for US$4.99 per month or US$30 per year.

In other Age of Learning news, the company has partnered with tech giant Tencent to launch a new ABCmouse English-learning program in China.
