London-based startup Tech Will Save Us received US$2 million in funding from Brighteye Ventures, an extension of the US$4.2 million in Series A funding led by Initial Capital earlier this year.

The additional funding from Brighteye Ventures will allow the company to grow its DIY toy offerings, which feature “hackable” STEAM products. The funding will also contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion into additional global territories with a focus on Europe.

In March, Tech Will Save Us partnered with Disney to launch a Marvel Avengers-themed electronic kit (pictured) designed to teach kids about electricity through conductive dough.
