Netflix has inked a multi-year overall deal with Darla Anderson (Coco, Cars, Toy Story 3) to develop and produce new animated and live-action feature films and series. Anderson joins Netflix from Pixar, where she worked as a producer for more than 25 years.

In a statement, Netflix VP of kids and family Melissa Cobb said the agreement with Anderson is part of a push at the streaming giant to bring in more diverse voices and use new storytelling media. Under Anderson’s creative direction, Pixar exclusively cast Latino and Mexican actors in the feature film Coco, making it the first-ever Hollywood feature film to have an entirely Latino and Mexican cast for both the English- and Spanish-language versions.

Netflix has inked a number of overalls in recent months, including an agreement with Disney alum and Doc McStuffins creator Chris Nee. Under the terms, Nee will be writing and producing new animated and live-action series exclusively for Netflix. The streamer also recently snapped up a number of other Disney talents, including Alex Woo (Wall-ERatatouille) and Stanley Moore (Finding DoryMonsters University) for a new series called Go! Go! Cory Carson, and Silvia Olivas (Elena of Avalor) to co-write and co-executive produce Maya and the Three with Jeff Ranjo (Moana) as head of story.

In other Netflix news, the streamer announced that Fuller House will return for a fifth and final season this fall. Fuller House, the original spin-off of the long-running family-friendly series Full House, launched in 2016.
