US broadcaster Discovery Family Channel and Spanish-language network Discovery Familia have acquired the pay-TV rights to multiple properties from 41 Entertainment (41E).

First off, the producer/distributor is sending its action-comedy series PAC-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (pictured) to the kidsnets later this year. Produced by 41E and developed for TV by Avi Arad (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) the 52 x 22-minute series see Pac-Man and his friends protect their world from a ghostly army. The broadcasters also picked up two Pac-Man themed holiday specials titled Santa Pac’s Merry Berry Day (44 minutes) and PAC’s Scary Halloween (44 minutes).

Starting in 2020, the broadcasters will air 41E’s in-production series Superhero Summer Camp (52 x seven minutes), where children of legendary superheroes learn to control their own superpowers, and Superhero Pets (52 x seven minutes) where different animals save the day. Both shows were announced last year, as the prodco built on the success of its other super series, Netflix‘s Super Monsters.

Discovery also acquired 41E’s full-length films Kong – King of the Apes (123 minutes), Tarzan and Jane: Genesis (84 minutes) and Tarzan and Jane: Tale of Two Jungles (123 minutes). All three films will roll out on the nets in the next few months.
