UK-based AVOD provider VOD365 has picked up two preschool series from Endemol Shine Group for its kids channel Ketchup TV.

Looking to deliver its content to a wider audience, Endemol is sending its CGI-animated preschool shows Bananas in Pyjamas (128 x 12 minutes) and eight episodes of varying lengths for PC Bob (pictured) to Ketchup TV. Revolving around the adventures of two anthropomorphic bananas, Bananas in Pyjamas is produced by Endemol’s Australian production arm Southern Star Entertainment.

The latter animated series PC Bob, Endemol first launched on its YouTube channel this past February. The preschool series centers on a goofy police constable that tries to solve mysteries and stop criminals. No release date for either series has been announced yet.

Launched in 2016, Ketchup TV is a free preschool AVOD channel that is trying to rapidly expand its portfolio of licensed content. The AVOD’s most popular shows include Peppa Pig and the 10 x three-minute YouTube series Cry Babies Magic Tears for UK-based toyco IMC’s Cry Babies doll brand. Ketchup TV is available across smart TVs, IP-connected set-top boxes, game consoles and iOS and Android devices.
