ViacomCBS Network and satellite TV platform Sky Italy inked a multi-year deal to extend their collaboration in the region. The agreement will make Paramount Network, Spike and VH1 available on Sky throughout Italy, joining local versions of Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Comedy Central, MTV and Italian kids channel Super!

(Viacom International Media Networks fully acquired the free-to-air kids TV channel Super! from De Agostini Editore in October. Super! focuses on children ages four to 14, and features a catalogue of local and international content. The channel is fully operated by Viacom Italy.)

In a statement, Raffaele Annecchino, president of ViacomCBS Networks in Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa (pictured), said Italy remains one of the most important and valuable markets in which the company operates.

The partners also signed a commercial deal that will see Sky Media exclusively sell ViacomCBS channels and digital advertising in Italy, effective February 2. Sky previously inked an agreement to distribute and sell advertising across ViacomCBS’s portfolio of channels in the UK.

Following the agreement that saw CBS acquire Viacom in August, a number of announcements have been made regarding the merged company’s leadership team. Former Mattel exec Venetia Davie recently joined ViacomCBS Consumer Products as VP of UK and Ireland, while Stefanie Schwartz was upped to EVP and GM of Viacom Digital Studios. Schwartz is replacing current president Kelly Day, who is in talks for another senior role at ViacomCBS.
