Paris-based prodco Cottonwood Media signed a licensing partnership with South Korea’s Asiana Licensing for The Ollie & Moon Show. The deal covers a high-end merchandising program that includes toys, collectibles, apparel, publishing and promotions based on the animated preschool series.

The agreement was brokered by Ana Micoud, leading Cottonwood’s licensing business through her company The Wizards, and the new consumer products will target preschoolers through tweens.

The Ollie & Moon Show incorporates both animation (the cats) and live action (the backgrounds) and is based on the book series by author and illustrator Diane Kredensor, which centers on two cats travelling the world and learning about different cultures and countries. The series, produced by Cottonwood Media and distributed worldwide by Federation Kids & Family, airs on EBS in South Korea and is also available on Netflix.

Previous broadcast partners include YLE (Finland), Canal Panda (Spain), Super! (Italy), Discovery LatAm, D-Kids (MENA), IETV (Israel), VRT (Belgium) and Knowledge (Canada).
