Dr. Seuss Enterprises tapped two new hires to guide its recent expansions and newly launched properties. Nicol Hodges has joined the team as global creative manager and Tami Thosath has stepped into the role of senior manager for global licensing.

Formerly a senior sales manager at Equity Management, Thosath is tasked with securing new licensing partnerships to further expand Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ products portfolio. Thosath previously held senior roles at Big Tent Entertainment and Endemol USA.

Hodges also joins Dr. Seuss Enterprises from equity management and formerly held senior positions at Mattel and D&R Women’s Athletic Wear. Hodges’ new role as global creative manager will have her working closely with DSE’s marketing and creative teams while reporting to global creative manager, Shannon Spisak.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises has actively grown its business in the last year with new hires and the launch of new properties. DSE named Julie Dill as VP of global licensing, marketing and communications back in October.  Former LEGO manager Tatjana Blanusa came on board in November as Director of global licensing and retail development. DSE also announced several new consumer product lines including travel gear inspired by “Oh The Places You’ll Go!” (pictured) and augmented-reality apps based on “Dr. Seuss’s ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book.”
