Toronto-based content creation, distribution and licensing company Epic Story Media has been appointed as the US and Canadian licensing agent for Outfit7’s flagship brand Talking Tom and Friends. Epic Story will be handling the consumer products program across key categories such as toys, plush, publishing, party/novelty, experiential/events and promotions.

Outfit7 has developed and launched 22 Talking Tom and Friends mobile games (with more than 10 billion cumulative downloads globally) and several animated series, such as Talking Tom and Friends, Talking Tom Shorts and Tom and Friends Minis, which collectively have more than 23 billion YouTube views worldwide.

It’s a big  year for YouTube licensing and consumer products so far with Jazwares signing popular kids channel CoComelon for its first CP line, Moose Toys teaming up with comedy channel Collins Key as its global master toy partner, and Jakks Pacific partnering with kid-skewing Cute Girls Hairstyles to launch new products in August.
