Netflix has found a new leader for its consumer products team. Josh Simon, the former VP/head of global strategy for product, design, merchandising and categories at Nike is now the VP of consumer products at Netflix.

He is stepping into the role formerly held by Christie Fleischer, who served as head of global consumer products. Fleischer joined Netflix in September 2018 and left in August last year to become the CEO of makeup brand Benefit Cosmetics.

Reporting to Amy Reinhard, the head of global content licensing and consumer products, Simon will oversee a growing consumer products team—although Netflix has not returned a request for comment on how big that team currently is or who is a part of it—that has worked on products for Strangers Things 3, La Casa del Papel and To All the Boys: P.S. I Love You.

Before stepping into the VP role at Netflix, Simon also held roles at DreamWorks, where he worked as a producer for two years; and at at Disney, where he served as a director of production and development and a senior analyst of corporate strategy.
