Ian Lambur, former EVP of production, distribution and co-productions at Zag Entertainment, is joining Cloudco as its new EVP of content strategy and co-productions. Lambur will be responsible for all content planning, strategies and co-production relationships, as well as serving as head of Cloudco’s global content sales business.

Based in LA and reporting to Cloudco Entertainment president Sean Gorman, Lambur starts in the new role immediately and will oversee brands such as Care Bears, Holly Hobbie and Madballs. The studio is currently in production on two animated series, with two live-action shows in pre-production.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Cloudco has been busy selling its existing catalogue, including animated series Tinpo, which recently went to Nickelodeon LatAm. It also announced the relaunch of Madballs, a retro line of action figures, with Utah-based Megalopolis.

Lambur left Zag at the end of June, after helping the company achieve wider distribution for its series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and Power Players by extending their US domestic distribution footprints with new sales to the Disney Channel and Netflix, respectively. He was promoted to EVP earlier this year.

Prior to joining Zag, Lambur served in various content distribution and acquisition roles at The Jim Henson Company, Disney EMEA and Guru Studios.
