Media I.M.

London distributor Media I.M. has signed two broadcast deals for Digital Light Studio’s preschool short series Sunny Bunnies (pictured). Chinese VOD platform Tencent has picked up seasons one to three (78 eps), while Kids Zone Pakistan has picked up all four seasons (104 eps). The CG-animated series, which follows five bouncing balls of light that take on fun adventures in their quest to spread happiness, will air on both broadcasters starting next month.

Moonbug

London-based producer Moonbug has inked a deal with ViacomCBS to launch the Little Baby Bum channel on free streaming service Pluto TV. Featuring nursery rhymes and kids series, the channel includes content from the Little Baby Bum, Go Buster and Playtime with Twinkle brands. Moonbug will also air some of its older-skewing programming, such as Supa Strikas and ARPO, on the Pluto channel.

ViacomCBS LatAm

ViacomCBS Networks Consumer Products Latin America has appointed Mon Entertainment as its licensing agent for Colombia and Ecuador. Under the agreement, Mon will build and manage the ViacomCBS portfolio of brands, including SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Blue’s Clues and You! and Baby Shark. It will also promote and expand VIMN’s existing licensing and merchandising business in these markets.

Meanwhile, Nick Jr. sent preschool learning platform Noggin to the Apple TV app in Latin America. Through Noggin, kids can access shows like PAW Patrol and Dora the Explorer, as well as a variety of educational content. Noggin launched on the app July 21, and is available in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Hatchette Children’s Group

LA-based licensing agency Point.1888 has partnered with Brit publisher Hachette Children’s Group to adapt CG-animated preschool series Tinpo into a range of picture and activity books for the UK market. Launched in 2018 on the BBC’s preschool block CBeebies, the 78 x seven-minute construction series from Cloudco follows Tinpo and his team as they look for unique solutions to the problems around them.
