The winners of this year’s Licensing International Excellence Awards were revealed in a live virtual event that took place last night. Nearly 1,000 industry executives from around the world participated in the ceremony hosted by comedian Marshall Mizrahi.
Sesame Workshop and The LEGO Group were each crowned multiple times across character, toy and gaming categories. Fan-favorite characters like SpongeBob SquarePants and Peppa Pig also won big at the event. Wildbrain CPLG, meanwhile, was the first company to win in the new Best Licensing Agency category.
Martha Stewart was inducted into the Licensing Hall of Fame, while recipients of the 2020 International Rising Stars Award were also recognized at the virtual event.
