Fans of the Wizarding World franchise are about to be spellbound. Spin Master has entered into a global licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to develop toys inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

The range, which is set to hit shelves in fall 2021, will include dolls, figures and accessories, playsets, vehicles, games, plush and roleplay items.

This deal expands Spin Master’s existing partnership with Warner Bros. Earlier this year, the Toronto-based toy and entertainment company partnered with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on gaming efforts related to its Bakugan property.

Previously, Warner Bros. joined forces with Jakks Pacific to launch a toy line based on the Wizarding World brands. That effort included roleplay items, collectibles and games.

Spin Master’s move to become the new toy licensee for the Wizarding World franchise comes after the toymaker reported growth in Q3 2020, following several difficult quarters. The company’s revenue grew 4.3% to US$571.6 million, due to strength in its outdoor toy and boys action categories.
