WarnerMedia is restructuring its teams in France, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GAS) in order to better connect its distinct divisions.

Iris Knobloch (pictured), who was recently appointed as country manager for WarnerMedia in those regions, lined up a new leadership team that will see Olivier Snanoudj, Eric Broet, Caroline Lang, Guillaume Coffin and Gregory Schuber take on new roles for France and Benelux; and Willi Geike, Steffen Schier, Peter Schauerte, Sylvia Rothblum, Matthias Heinze and Tim van Dyk take charge in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The home entertainment and consumer products divisions in each region will be consolidated into one unit to improve efficiency. Broet, who was previously Warner Bros. Entertainment’s EVP of France and Benelux, will now lead WarnerMedia’s new merged division for France and Benelux, alongside Yves Elalouf (head of home entertainment) and Jérôme Ollagnier (head of CP in France). Broet will also supervise local theatrical production in France and Benelux.

Snanoudj and Schier are now managing theatrical distribution in the French and Benelux/GAS markets, respectively.

Schauerte will lead home entertainment and consumer products in the GAS region, supported by Veronika Tiedemann as head of home entertainment and head of consumer products Stefan Hausberg.

Geike, was previously the country manager for GAS and Poland and drove the company’s theatrical production business in those regions, is taking on a new role dedicated to local theatrical production for GAS.

Lang will continue to lead TV distribution for France and French-speaking territories, while Rothblum does the same for GAS and Israel. Coffin is now heading up affiliates and ad sales for France and Benelux, with Heinze as his counterpart for GAS. They will coordinate with Knobloch and Pierre Branco, WarnerMedia’s head of EMEA affiliates and ad sales and country manager for Nordics, CEE, MENAT and Africa.

Schuber and van Dyk will continue to lead the marketing teams in France and Benelux/GAS, respectively.

It’s also worth noting that the restructured execs will all work closely with Johannes Larcher (head of HBO Max for EMEA) and Christina Sulebakk (GM of HBO Europe).

WarnerMedia has been shaking up its exec teams around the globe recently. Warner Bros. recently promoted Amy Friedman and Sundance Feniger to take on greater responsibility for the kids and family business. And in October, the TV and streaming units were significantly restructured, with the management of HBO Max’s kids and family programming shifting to Tom Ascheim’s global kids, young adults and classics division.
