Nickelodeon’s interactive learning SVOD for preschoolers has launched its first-ever original long-form series, Noggin Knows. The educational show is made up of five x 24-minute episodes, in contrast to the platform’s usual two- to five-minute videos.

It’s hosted by Emmanuel Carter, who uses dancing and singing to guide kids through themed lessons alongside Nickelodeon preschool characters. The first episode which premiered on Monday, for example, features Carter teaching kids about dinosaurs with the help of Bubble Guppies characters. New episodes are scheduled to roll out weekly.

Noggin Knows joins a number of recent commissions for Noggin, including School of Yum, Word Play and Imagination Trips. The latest original, Titmouse’s preschool show Kinderwood (30 x seven minutes), launched on December 3 and teaches kids about friendship and compassion.
