WarnerMedia has established its new leadership teams for HBO Max EMEA and Latin America ahead of the SVOD’s launches in those territories.

Christina Sulebakk (pictured) has been named GM of HBO Max EMEA, with responsibility for upgrading the current HBO streaming services in the region to HBO Max services. This will involve closing HBO Nordic, HBO España, HBO Portugal and HBO Go in Central Eastern Europe. She will also orchestrate the expansion of HBO Max into more territories in Europe, the Middle East and Africa where the brand doesn’t already have a strong foothold. Sulebakk joined HBO in 2012 as an EVP and chief marketing and sales officer for HBO Nordic, and before that, she worked as an exec at Canal+.

Rounding out the HBO Max EMEA upper ranks is Line Mykland as head of the content experience team; Roberto Soto as head of growth marketing; Brett Horowitz, who will lead data, insights and planning; and Tobias Andersson as regional legal head. Andreas Ferdinand will spearhead product development, and Mark Spivey is to serve as the regional talent lead.

In LatAm, Luis Duran will join the company in February as GM of HBO Max Latin America. He will be responsible for the rollout and management of HBO Max in the region, which is expected to happen later this year. Duran most recently served as chief commercial officer for the digital unit of the MBC Group.

On Duran’s HBO Max LatAm team are Dionne Bermudez leading the product experience group, Jose Calderoni in charge of the growth marketing team, and Dario Tonelli running data, insights and planning. Jesus Rodriguez will head up the content experience team, with Dainira Falk as legal lead, and Maria Huntsberry as talent lead.
