India’s Toonz Media Group and LA-based Dreamdust Studios have signed a strategic partnership to create and develop Daisy Dew Drop and the Rainbow Garden.

Based on illustrations by Dreamdust’s Chris Antoine and Bob Prado, the CG-animated preschool series follows Daisy and her garden friends on outdoor adventures that highlight lessons about the environment and friendships. The co-development deal between the two companies was brokered by Firefly Brand Management.

Dreamdust was founded in 2008 by Antoine (a former design director for The Disney Store and Warner Bros. Consumer Products) and Prado (a creative director for The Disney Store).

Toonz has recently launched an OTT platform in partnership with OTTera. The new channel features 1,500 half hours of movies and TV content (proprietary and licensed) for kids and families.
