The new musical preschool series from Teidees in Spain was just what the French distributor was looking for, and episodes will begin delivering by MIPTV.

Paris-based Dandelooo has picked up international distribution rights to Jasmine and Jambo, a new original music-themed series from Spanish prodco Teidees.

The 2D-animated preschool toon stars two music-loving friends who go on adventures together in Soundland. Jasmine and Jambo (26 x seven minutes) is currently in production, and the first two episodes should be finished ahead of MIPTV in April. The next 11 are slated for delivery this fall, and Teidees plans to have the full first season completed by year’s end.

Dandelooo had been actively hunting for a music-themed series, said co-founder Emmanuèle Pétry Sirvin in a release, and was drawn to this particular show’s concept and design—as well as its speedy production schedule.

Dandelooo opened its own studio in 2018 to help accommodate a growing development slate, but its distribution business remains a focus, as evidenced by a bevy of recent European pre-sales for Pompom Little Bear.
