Munich-based Studio 100 has been tapped to handle Mediatoon’s licensing business in German-speaking territories, Benelux, Eastern Europe, Poland and the Nordics.

In this multi-year deal, Studio 100 will work to establish broader CP programs, explore new categories and reach new international markets for Mediatoon brands including Marsupilami (pictured), Bobby & Bill, Little Furry, Martin Morning, The Fox Badger Family, Lucky Luke and Yakari.

Studio 100 has been building up its licensing team lately to handle more third-party business. The company brought in Joachim Knodler as head of licensing in September, as well as recruiting former WildBrain CPLG manager Aleksandra Gebauer for a newly created sales manager of international licensing role.
